Iams Pet Food Recall

The Iams Pet food company has issued a recall of all veterinary and some specialized dry pet food due to a possible Salmonella contamination. Please check your Iams food for the “best by” date to see if it falls in the listed ones below. If you have any of this food or any concerns your food may be part of the recall or concerns about your pet that may have eaten these products, please contact Paige at 763-574-9892. Here is a list of the recalled products:

Iams Veterinary Dry Formulas: all dry sizes and varieties; best by date of 01Jul10 – 01Dec11; all UPC Codes

Eukanuba Naturally Wild: all dry sizes and varieties; best by date of 01Jul10 – 01Dec11; all UPC Codes

Eukanuba Pure: all dry sizes and varieties; best by date of 01Jul10 – 01Dec11; all UPC Codes

Eukanuba Custom Care Sensitive Skin: all dry sizes; best by 01Jul10 – 01Dec11; all UPC Codes

Our brand-new, state-of-the-art digital system for taking dental x-rays gives us many advantages over our old system and allows us to improve your pet’s dental care. Dr. Ryan is excited have upgraded to the EVA unit by AFP imaging and will be happy to talk to you about the new system any time.

Well so this year it has been May showers bringing our pet’s enemy – the tick. While none of us like to find ticks on our dogs and cats, we must be careful in what we use to get rid of them. At Skyline, we sell Frontline Plus for flea and tick control. When you buy Frontline from us, we will get you the right dose for your pet and the product is backed by the company if your pet has an adverse reaction to the medication. Please be aware that you can buy Frontline and other topical flea and tick products at your local farm store but these are not backed by the company for any reactions your pet may have and it is easy to get the wrong size accidently. Also, some of the other products can be toxic to cats so be aware of what you are buying.
